Amazon Associates – Skincare Routine for Acne-Prone Skin: How PanOxyl Can Help

| | | |

Heyy Girlies! Welcome to this corner of my life! Here we talk about all things Faith & Lifestyle <3

Clearing acne can be an expensive and frustrating journey. A lot of times you may hear different stories of people being put on acutane and having horrible reactions during or post use. But what else is there to do to heal and clear up your acne?

I get it. I asked this question for close to 10 years before I started to see a difference and learn what I needed to do to help. Back in 2019 I found Curology and decided ā€œWhat the heck,ā€ might as well try it and for a few years it worked great! In fact it still works great, but thatā€™s a different conversation for a different time.

My skin was clear of fresh breakouts but I still had dark spots all over my face to the point where it became a very big insecurity and I wouldnā€™t leave my room without putting a full coverage foundation on. Which really didnā€™t help the situation because that would just cause new breakouts. But there wasnā€™t much I could do about it because I was unemployed, trying to start a new business, and didnā€™t have the finances for expensive skincare products, and everything I was seeing online were skincare routines with 5-10 products each costing anywhere from $10 – $55 per item! Totally unaffordable and unmaintainable for the financial situation I was in.

Here’s a Look at a Before & After from March – June!

In the After photos I am wearing a light concealer, but it doesn’t cover much! I also want to note that not all acne could be healed by these products. A lot of times it can be an internal issue as much as it’s an external one! So make sure to speak with a doctor if it appears to be a more severe case!

Eventually I started to see PanOxyl all over my social feeds. People were saying itā€™s the best thing ever and affordable butā€¦Iā€™d heard that one before. Besides seeing things like Benzoyl Oxide and Salicylic Acid sounded a bit intimidating to put on my face (I wasnā€™t sure how theyā€™d react with my curology formula), but after doing some research I learned that itā€™d be fine to try, so once again I thought ā€œWhat the heck,ā€ might as well try it right? There has to be a little bit of weight to it if everyone is posting about it! And Iā€™ve got to sayā€¦it did not, and has not disappointed!

I have seen such a big different in the amount of breakouts I have and how quickly they heal. For example, during that time of the month I would get really painful pimples along my chin and lower lip, and this was consistent at least one a week before and one a week after, so essentially two weeks of having painful breakouts. After a week of using panoxyl I saw a huge difference and my skin has continued to get better and better, to the point where I can finally spot conceal my face without having to wear an all over foundation to cover everything!

So here are the 4 Panoxyl products Iā€™ve been using since March to help clear my skin!

#1 PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength Antimicrobial – This will definitely bleach anything so, donā€™t wear your favorite shirt while washing your face because even if itā€™s just a few drops it will start to make your top splotchy (I learned this the hard wayā€¦). But you can also use this product on your back or chest if you deal with acne there as well! Or use the Bar of Soap, same product just in a bar form!

Another tip with this product is to let it sit on your face for around 1-2 minutes to let actually get to work on your skin! I like to put it on and then brush my teeth while it sits, and then wash it off!

#2 PanOxyl Clarifying Exfoliant with 2% Salicylic Acid, BHA Liquid Exfoliant for Face, Unclogs and Minimizes Appearance of Pores, Blue Algae & Antioxidants Help Calm Redness, For Acne Prone Skin – I love this product! Iā€™ve always shied away from using exfoliants because Iā€™ve heard so many conflicting opinions on which one to use. But since it was apart of the product line I figured Iā€™d give it ago, and Iā€™m so glad that I did! Itā€™s not too harsh on my skin and I notice a difference in the texture of my skin, itā€™s a lot smooth and softer. And a lot of the dark spots on my face have pretty much disappeared except for a few stubborn areas!

#3 PanOxyl AM Oil Control Moisturizer, Sheer Formula, Absorbs Excess Oil and Reduces Shine, with Mineral Sunscreen for Acne Prone and Oily – Let me tell you I have STRUGGLED with sunscreen! For some reasons I have not been able to put sunscreen on my face for years without getting really bad bumps and breakouts. I tried different forms of minerals sunscreens, chemical sunscreens, moisturizer with sunscreen added, sunscreen on itā€™s own, and everything within an hour would cause my skin to become irritated and breakout!

For some reason this combination of moisturizer with SPF included has not caused any breakouts or irritation. So you bet Iā€™m gonna keep using it!

#4 PanOxyl PM Overnight Spot Patches, Advanced Hydrocolloid Healing Technology, Fragrance Free – I love a good pimple patch, Iā€™ve used Hero. Cosmetic ones, Iā€™ve used curology ones, and theyā€™re all great but againā€¦expensive! Usually they average $8 for 20ct, but PanOxyl you get a 40ct for $8, thatā€™s twice as many for the same price!
